Transfer Policy
Students wishing to transfer to the Asian Institute are accepted on a space available basis. Transfer students must meet the same entrance requirements as those established for first year students. Credit for previous academic work from candidate or accredited schools is granted provided the course content is equivalent to courses at the Asian Institute. Examinations may be required to certify transfer credit, and admission to specific courses is contingent upon meeting course prerequisites. At least one academic year is required for completion of the degree program and must be taken at the Asian Institute.
Transfer students who are entering after the beginning of the second year and would be working in the Institute's Community Clinic may be required to take the Institute's Pre-Clinical Examination and pass with a minimum score of 75%.
A $75 transcript evaluation fee is required for transcript evaluation, however, if the student is accepted into the program, this fee will be applied towards the $100 application fee.
