For a new TCM school, the Asian Institute has become involved quickly in the field of research. The University of Arizona is located in Tucson, as well as Andrew Weil’s Program in Integrative Medicine (PIM). The Institute has solid connections with PIM that, through their personnel, has resulted in options for participating in research for the advancement of therapeutic knowledge relating to TCM.

We are currently collaborating to conduct one research study, and have recently completed two other pilot studies. Our students have been able to directly able to participate in conducting a portion of the research, giving them priceless experience for the future.
